Yesterday's photo shoot for the new Heist collection (coming soon!) was absolutely amazing! Our model, Kelly, looked absolutely stunning and the photographer, Mirti, really got some great shots. I spent this past weekend in Jupiter, FL working on my scuba certification. It's always been on my list to do and I finally had the opportunity to do it. We had our first ocean dive yesterday and after next Sunday's boat dive I will officially be certified in both Open Water and Nitrox!

A Day With Peter, Bjørn and John

As some of you may know, my great friends own the Ms. Cheezious food truck here in Miami. When they asked me to work the truck this past Friday for a special event with Peter, Bjørn and John, of course I was thrilled. I am a fan after all!

They showed up and enjoyed some sandwiches and they were all very lovely to us and the fans that showed up to eat and chat with them at the truck.

We snapped some pictures with them before they headed out and they were kind enough to add us to the list for their show that night.

The show was amazing, of course. And on my way out the door, they invited me to go have a few post-show beers with them at a nearby restaurant. I joined them and had an amazingly great time having some beers and great conversation (especially with Bjørn, whom I bonded with over our shared Scandinavian heritage).

All in all, it was a great day and unique experience. I highly recommend you go check them out when they come to your town!

I wanted to share a special gift I made for my BFF Melody (MeMelodia) for her bridal shower. When I received her wedding invite in the mail, I was immediately in love with the beautiful red wax seal on the flap impressed with her and her fiancé, Ben's, initials.

My initial thought was how awesome it would be as a little charm so I made a mold of the seal and made a slightly smaller charm version in fine silver. To accompany it I made the same piece as a key chain for Ben.

I was so happy with the way they turned out but I was burning up inside having to wait a few weeks to give it to her. I'm proud to say the wait was worth it! Based on the texts I've received since the party ended ("I'm still on Cloud 9!" "Ben loves the keychain!") I'm going to assume it was a great success!

Congratulations Melody and Ben! I can't wait to spend your big day with you!!! xoxo

So when an album comes along that does just that, of course I get excited. I get even more excited when the band in question happens to be my great friends (and fellow University of Miami, School of Music alums), ANR.

You MUST check out their album "Stay Kids" ASAP. Pay particular attention to my favorite song on the album, "A Year of Solitude Pays Off." Those vocals...wow.

North Carolina: Dawson's Creek

Just a few cellphone snaps I took on my trip to Wilmington, NC. This particular batch happens to be taken in the location where they shot Dawson's Creek. I never watched the show, but visiting Jen and Dawson's TV homes makes me want to hit it up on Netflix! Regardless of the Dawson's Creek bit, this spot was one of the most beautiful I visited during my entire trip. I could sit on that dock for hours.

As I'm currently in the process of signing a lease on a new apartment, I've been trolling Apartment Therapy looking for ideas and inspiration for my new place. Although this space in Philadelphia is nothing like my apartment, I still thought it was eclectically beautiful enough to share here.
