As I mentioned before, I wanted to find a worthy organization to donate a portion of the gator charm proceeds to. Since it's an alligator, of course it seemed appropriate to donate to some sort of Everglades conservation group. Well I have found just such a group: the Everglades Foundation!
"The Everglades Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to advancing an understanding of the Greater Everglades Ecosystem and its irreplaceable environmental and economic value.
Since 1993, the Everglades Foundation has been doing its part to help the environmental community develop the staff and tools necessary to tackle restoration challenges."
