PNW: Part 2

1) I spent many, many hours exploring Indian Beach at Ecola State Park. One of the definite highlights from my trip.

2) The Big Tree at Humboldt Redwoods State Park

3) Spent a few glorious hours in the International Rose Test Garden in Portland. OR pretending I wasn't panicking about not having a place to stay for the night. (It worked out in the end)

4) Exploring the cutest shops in San Francisco's Mission District, including the beautiful shop, Paxton Gate, and their ridiculously well-curated plant section.

5) A little bit of sun while overlooking the Oregon Coast from the 101.

6) Stocking up on fresh produce at the beautiful farmers market outside the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco.

7) The Pacific Northwest reaffirms their love of flannel on random road side signs. I'm not complaining (please see photo 1).

Wrightsville Beach

I just got back from a 5 day vacation in Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, NC. The first few days were cold and rainy, but it was the perfect weather for exploring the area and eating all the delicious food the area has to offer, including my favorite, Flaming Amy's. The last day was bright and sunny and we lounged on the beach all day and, of course, got sunburned.
Sipping beers on the porch watching the rain

Exploring and surfing in the gloom

One of the tamer nights, playing cards in the cottage

Hanging around the Country Store eating boiled peanuts

Summer Vacation

I'm hitting the road this week to take a much needed break and enjoy a little summer vacation time at the beach house in North Carolina that we rented last summer. All orders to date have been shipped and any new orders that are placed in the next week will be made and shipped next week.
Happy summer vacation!

That Other July Trip

@Tiffheartzero

Salty hair, delicious barbeque and good friends. The best way to spend the 4th of July week.

I Need to Take a Trip

Sailing adventure a la Daria?

"Werbowy loves the sea as much as the sun — a few years ago she took a break from modeling and sailed across the Atlantic from New York for 24 days with her father, brother and sister. A few days after our shoot, she would be embarking on a two-month sailing expedition from Guatemala to Belize, island hopping along the coast, then traveling through Central America to Costa Rica. There would be no staff, no captain, no chef, just a few friends and family members. Werbowy would do it all: sail, steer, clean and cook. “Daria can morph into so many different things,” Bird says. 'She’s tough as nails.'" -T Magazine

Or a good old fashioned road trip?

 Or Both?
