Team Zissou

Can we all just take a moment to remember how completely awesome this movie is? Reminds me of a weekend in Brooklyn spent with good friends Tommy and Rob where we attempted to watch it at least once a day for 4 days straight...it was beyond successful.

PS - Why was there never a Zissou Adidas shoe on the market?? There's a petition, a USA Today article and even Make-your-own-Zissou-shoe DIYs. I'd wear them...would you?

Balmain D.I.Y.

I REALLY want to make these Balmain-esque shoes. Don't you? They seem easy enough to make. Get the directions HERE!

UPDATE: Silly me! If I would have scrolled down just a liiiiittle bit further, I would have noticed THIS...a whole D.I.Y. Balmain look - head to toe! Looks like I've got some work to do...

Chloe

My roommate in undergrad told me that I looked like Chloe Sevigny and I was none too pleased. Since that time, I've come to my senses and realized that she was actually giving me an insane compliment! Thanks, Angela!

How about that amazing belt in the first photo!

Just a Couple of Pics...

...snapped at the Animal Collective show that I went to at the House of Blues recently.

PS - Nylon is offering a free iTunes 22 song summer playlist HERE. I haven't listened to the whole thing but so far so good...but to be fair, I've only listened to 2 other songs besides my old faves of Montreal's "For Our Elegant Castle" and Santigold's (she changed her name from Santogold to Santigold to avoid a lawsuit??) "L.E.S. Artistes." Regardless, nothing to lose if it's free right? Enjoy!

You Would Look Hotter in a Helmet

Look what UPS delivered today!

I'm loving this campaign for making me feel less nerdy (but not completely un-nerdy).

And here's a bike helmet PSA for your enjoyment, I just like it because they say the word "coochie!"

First Day of the Rest of my Life

I graduated from law school on Friday. I can't believe how fast it flew by! I have NO idea what my future holds at this point but I do know that I've got my work cut out for me over the next few months while studying for the bar (and a second bar in NY in February!) After that I'm just hoping I can make a decent living off of Heist alone...who really wants to be a lawyer anyways?! ;)

I <3 NYC

I'm off to NYC tomorrow morning for a long weekend (and graduation celebration) so I won't be able to communicate with you beautiful people until then. If you want to track me down you can find me eating my favorite falafel sandwich (extra pickles, please) in Williamsburg or at Beacon's Closet doing some shopping. Have a great weekend!
